O'Carolan tunebook?

Does anyone know where I might find a tunebook, sort of like O’Neils, of O’Carolan’s work? I’ve found a few pieces, but nothing together for flute.

There is indeed a text with all of his works. I have it at home and, unless someone else here has it handy, I’ll look up the publisher and such for you. I believe it’s Ossian.

If you just want the tune go for the web. If you want a book with a history of O’Carolan and notes about the tunes as well as the tunes, then get that book from Elderly. Great stuff.

I’ve got the book that is at Elderly. I like it a lot. There’s good music, and a lot of the history behind the tunes.

It should, however, be noted that not all the tunes are written in keys that are friendly to a D flute or whistle, so expect to transpose or look for a chromatic instrument.

There is also, somewhere, a “Complete Works” publication also by Ossian I believe. That’s what I thought I had ordered when the “Life and Times” book arrived at the music store. It was close enough, so I still bought it.
