i was up late last night, deep in my cup, watching the tornados on the local news, when i tried the gen b flat tweak of filling the the blow hole 20% with bees wax on the left side on my o’brian improved d. it was just the ticket, as the c nat. often came out sharp when descending from the second octive. now i don’t have to lower my pressure inorder to play the correct pitch. much,much improved improved 
i filled it about 27% with the bees wax, packed it to one side with a flat toothpick.
Sticky tack is better than bee’s wax. You can buy at in the office supplies section, it’s the white (or blue) putty-like stuff that you use to hold posters on the wall with. The white kind comes in a green package with a duck on it.
aye cranberry, i have that also, i just prefer the wax for some applicaions.
