Tis a very porus wood indeed.Thats why it is so guid fer shipbuilding as it absorbs the water and swells.Ok if’n ye want to play in the shower I spose.

If remember rigth there was scottish GHB maker ( Cameron ) who made oak pipes, but looks that out of business several of years now.
