O.T. Wow! Is the Cutie Pie tread really DEAD?

Hiya, old and new friends on C&F! I am sorry I’ve been gone so long, I’ve missed you all! It’s been a brutal year, but I am the proud owner of a 1907 miner’s shack in Lead now. Why didn’t anybody warm me about having a house! At least I an play the whistle without the neighbors griping! :tomato:

Hi Anna: As a matter of fact, I was actually thinking about you the other day!

so you bought a shack! Good for you!
We lived in a shack for awhile in Leadville Colorado. Gathered and chopped wood all autumn, used ONLY wood for heat, and still paid sky-high electric bills in the winter! They blamed it on the water-heater ~ Well, maybe.

Are you still playing your whistle on the streets of Deadwood?

Mary

Anna! Welcome back-- you have been missed. Congrats on your new living space… the freedom to whistle when you want to, as loud as you want to, must be a blessed thing, after your Deadwood experiences!

Anna!

It’s great to see you.

Best wishes,
Jerry

Hi Anna. Glad to see you back.

The cutie pie thread rears its ugly head every month or so.

How’s the poetry?

It feels really good to be home again!

Thanks Jerry, it’s incredibly good to be back here!

And a hug atcha, you Wizard of OZ!

Poetry is a tough sell to these barbarians, have done a few “adult” shows at Oyster Bay with Slam Poets we drag in from out of state. Sheesh, when the book first came out, I got an e-mail from the President of the Arts Council tearing into me for my grammar, the style, and the subject matter! Ha! The woman never even bought the book. Looking for a publisher for the second one!

And…I am no longer a cutie pie!
