Many, many moons ago I used to play this on the guitar. It was a classical arrangement (John Duarte) of an Irish traditional tune. Virtually every classical guitarist will recognise it.
Does this tune go under a different name? I can’t find any reference to it as being Irish trad other than in the above context.
