Hello - traveling with the family to NYC for a few happenings - ballet for my wife and daughter, a tap jam for my step son, the zoo for my daughter - and was recommended a few sessions on Saturday and Sunday. With the plans being what they are, was thinking either the Brass Monkey session on Sunday afternoon or the Lillie’s session on Saturday.
Anyone with experience with either of these sessions?

Lillies is a nice session run by Dan Neely on banjo, not sure if he was going upstate. Usually get an email with the guest on it, but haven’t noticed it as of yet. Enjoy…Monday evenings at the Landmark on 11th Ave is always good…good pints!!! Cheers

hey thanks for the input… did not get down to Lillie’s, the ballet did not finish in time up at Lincoln Center. Did however pop into Brass Monkey on sunday which 1) had great tunes and 2) was under a great architecture firm and 3) was under the Highline. Was about start up a conversation with the fiddlers and fluter who were playing wonderful and familiar tunes - and the draw of 3) the Highline got the best of me so my 6 year old and I wound up back on the Highline and had a blast… next time perhaps… man, what a wonderful urban greenway…
