Actually, the one I won in the raffle is every bit as satisfying without the weird tendency to make one of my fillings hurt like that one did…so win-win all round 
For the curious, Glauber got the regular Aluminum D. Thom (of The Whistle Shop) really tried to sell me on the Plus, and I very nearly went for it. Then I ultimately determined that I’m a bit of a purist and I really didn’t need the extra finger hole, especially since I know exactly one tune that could benefit from it. Besides, any instrument that has required me to learn alternate fingerings (a la the xaphoon I got for my birthday) ends up sitting in a drawer most of the time
I recently played my new Silkstone at session, and the musicians there really loved it’s complex tone. Economy willing, my new one’s not for sale either

I have a Michael Burke AL-PRO Low G and low D that are not for sale either.
The Michael Burke Brass Session Pro may have to go one day, though. It’s just too “sweet” sounding and loud.
At our last few acoustic gigs, the band had no trouble hearing the Clarke original and I have only needed the Burke twice. I need to play it some more to make sure, though, so it’s not for sale quite yet.
On the original silktone not for sale, does it come with the little fleece bag to store it in or is it not not come with it.
