Non- piping talents

What are the other one or two things that you folks are good at or do you enjoy doing in your spare time. Might be job…other creative outlets…exercise…pestering people on the net…pray tell.

Im not good at piping (yet, hehe)…but I fancy to be quite good at whistling.

Another skill that grew for the years is making web pages (even won some prizes  )

Ah, and I can sleep very well.

Therapy..receiving it.
Uilliam

I make custom messenger bags. It has turned into a job even though it started as a hobby. If only piping were like that. Now that’s a good joke…

I spend a lot of time:-

drinking good Scotch

smoking cheap cigars (the ones that start massive coughing spasms) love them

I ride a Suzuki GSXR1100 at 140mph (it brings me closer to God)

I play piano, guitar and whistle for simple pleasure
and
I try to solve the unified field theory that Albert Einstein failed to solve because he took to drinking good Scotch and smoking etc.

The hardest thing is learning the UP.

I spent a very pleasant weekend with Andreas Rogge and others recently in a German castle drinking and smoking etc.
and made a very nice practice set that plays really well. I would post pics of the set but I don’t know how.

I play a load of different instruments.

I sketch and am a cartoonist of some small fame.

I sing fairly well… sometimes.

I am a devoted lifemate… quite an easy thing to be with a wonderful wife like the one I share my life with.

My dog thinks I throw frisbees reasonably well.

and to quote gedpipes, it is definitely a good life

Too many things.

In addition to my artistic career (http://ww.patrickmaun.com - i.e. where the money goes), and the design business (http://www.maunmedia.com - where the money comes from), I try and spend as much time as possible sea kayaking (http://www.skoac.org), rock climbing (http://www.patrickmaun.org/photos.html), riding my bike and my scooter and when I get around to it, composing experimental music (http://www.patrickmaun.com/music.html).

Occasionally, I find time to play the pipes.

Fishing, ive won quite a few competitions.. fly, coarse, and sea.
I recieved an ncea in aquaculture so i would like to run my own fish-farm some day.
Occasional hunter, quite an ok shot.
I tie flies, so really i suppose i should learn how to make reeds!

I make drums (www.metloef.com), which one might argue the talent necessary to do..but it keeps me in pipes. Otherwise working on the dissertation (www.altabadia.it)…!

growing lots of fruit and veg,

sailing my boat

walking the dogs

playing with my band, www.wilfulmissing.f9.co.uk

Hmm…writing essays & learning languages.

Glands should get best topic for June.

I’m reasonably kind to small children and animals. Otherwise, no talent and only marginal social skills.
