No More Forever

I just got this albumby Dick Gaughan (Aly Bain on fiddle) and I am now officially flattened, out cold, fainted dead away, knocked silly. What a great album (his first solo, for those who might not know). HIGHLY RECOMMENDED if you don’t mind being stabbed repeatedly through the heart.

How 'bout a poke in the eye, or a kick in the bum? :boggle:

Hi Deej

Gaughan would do a good job of bum kicking  .

Isn’t that what life is all about anyway Carol? May as well enjoy it!

A great album from one of the true greats of folk music..

Aly Bain ain’t bad either…

It was probably Gaughans accent that kept him off the world stage..it baffles me sometimes, and I know all those songs to begin with.

Slan,
D.

I always liked the way he did that one:

Thair wis fower an twanty nobles sat in the king’s ha’
An’ bonnie Glenlogie wis the flooer o’ thaim a’
Thair wis fower an twanty nobles rade thro’ Banchory fair
An’ bonnie Glenlogie wis the flooer o’ thaim thair
etc.

Ooo, look! Dickie’s got himself a <A HREF+"http://www.dickalba.demon.co.uk/">website!</A>
