Hi everyone, been away a few months moving to Oz and then getting settled.
It’s a great place (which is why I moved back even though I’m a pom), but I have to say it’s not good on the old whistling practice - or not yet anyway! I’ve only played twice since arriving four months ago :roll:
The good news is I’ve found a teacher up the road, so there’s hope yet

Great to hear from you - now ain’t that weird - I was just thinking of you a few times in the last couple of days and wondering how you were getting on - in fact I looked up your email in my address book coz I wanted to mail you - but alas it had gone! But then you just showed up here again!
Did you get your Lehart flutes yet - I reckon you should have got them a little while ago since you ordered before me. I picked mine up from Diarmuid today (he collected it in Brittany for me last week - what is the chance of finding an excellent Irish trad flute teacher in the middle of nowhere here AND then discovering he knows Gilles and was part of the scene over there some years back!) Anyway - if you’ve got them how are you finding them? Mine is FANTASTIC (see thread on flute forum) and I am very very pleased with it - thanks for your tips last year!
