I’m selling an interesting open-hole wooden flute, in full working order and with a nice tone. It’s German and I think it’s probably from the 1920s/30s. It has a Boehm-style metal+?bakelite head joint but a conical wooden body, with very full keying, going down to low B. The maker’s stamp says Schutzmarke “Sonora”. I think it was made by Adler of Leipzig.
I wouldn’t be selling it, except I’ve just acquired an even nicer one (an old Abel Siccama which needs a lot of work but sounds like it will be terrific 
). However the Sonora is one to be played so I would rather that it went to someone who was going to play it.
