If any of you are in the Boston area, Niamh Parsons and Andy Irvine are playing a double bill at the First Baptist Church in lexington, Ma, on may 8th. Should be a great show! Just type in “music for robin” in your search engine.
Speaking of Andy Irvine, I heard that Planxty reunited for a few shows in Ireland not too long ago. What I wouldn’t give to see them do a few shows over here!
They’re performing in Chicago, too, on Sunday May 16, at the Old Town School.

Update:
Saw them saturday night. Even if you have to drive a hundred miles, go see this show. It was a near religious experience. Niamh Parsons’ singing nearly brought tears to my eyes, and Andy Irvine is, well, Andy Irvine.
Saturday was thier first show here, and they had only one practice together, so I can imagine that they will get even better as the tour goes on. So if they are coming anywhere near where any of you might be, get there to see them!
