NGC 6334: The Cat's Paw Nebula

Boy, does this look like a cat’s paw!
I refer you to my previous post on the same subject…

Can’t wait to see Caroluna’s take on this.

I’m suddenly reminded of the movie “Tremors”

I was doing some reading about this and found that the Cat’s paw nebula has also been photographed by radiotelescopes! Here’s a full sky shot with the Very Large Array in the foreground. The little box shows the area covered by today’s APOD.

You never cease to amaze me. I love it.
That kitty just looks so… nebulous.

Jeepers, now I’m changing my wallpaper once a week!

Cr*p… now thats funny!

Very well done, Caroluna.

…praise can be dangerous though-- look what happened to this poor guy.

hee hee hee

Praise can make you wear vinyl bike shorts? Dang.

Or develop a vinyl head?

Caroluna, by far your best one yet, with multiple levels of complexity. I really enjoyed this. Very very good!

 yep

done good, ya did!

That cat is cool.

I saw the sun through a telescope once.

It looked just like a big ball of string.

I hope the cute cosmic kitten doesn’t get its paws into it…
