Again, the tune is The Morning Dew, played first on an old Sweet rosewood whistle, then a Sweet conical Killourhy whistle in rosewood, then the new polymer Micheal Cronnolly whistle, and then for “baseline” a small-bore (not VSB) Susato D.
More comparisons to follow later this week.

It sounds like you really had to punch out some of the higher notes on the Cronnolly whistle. Does this whistle require lots of air?
The Cronnolly does take a lot of air, well supported, but it is a lovely whistle, loud without being piercing.
It doesn’t really take an uneven amount of air between its octaves though.
Also note its relative volume: these are all loud whistles, and it is easily the loudest, being subjectively about twice as loud as a Susato but not edgy or piercing.
