I just got one (only one) copy of the new C&F newsletter, by email. I only have one copy and i’m not sharing, so don’t PM me asking for it!

Anyway, let me be the first to congratulate Dale on hiring Jill as the new customer service intern person.

Here’s a brief description of the mailing list situation.

  1. I made a mistake. I got a ListBuilder account and I hate it. So, I’m hoping to phase it out. HOwever, it’s the largest and most complete set of email addresses I have. For now.

  2. To give people an alternative, especially those that were wrongly bounced by the sub-genuises at ListBuilder, I set up a NoftifyList.com list. About 700 joined it.

  3. Now I have found what I hope to become the permanent list, associated with Dreamhost, where I am gradually moving over all my website for hosting purposes. They have a free and apparently excellent Announce List. So I established a new one there. I pasted in all the ListBuilder email addresses. Everyone got an email seeking confirmation of the new subscription. About 1800 confirmed. So, I’m going to make one more attempt to get all the Listbuilder people switched to Dreamhost. Once that’s done, I’ll eliminate all the duplicates on Dreamhost & NotifyList, then I’ll close out ListBuilder.

I certainly hope that is clear!
