Well it was in the mail box when I got home. Very well packed. Love the fact that it’s three piece and slips in it’s own cloth case. I can’t speak about the tone of it much yet as I’m a relative newcomer. I have had my Freeman Mellow Dog for a few days so that’s all I can compare it to. The mellow dog has a much cleaner sound with more ring. The Obrien has a slightly more gritty? sound. A little more chiff? A little more back pressure. Two very different sounds to me but that’s as it should be. The craftsmanship seems excellent. My pictures aren’t the greatest but I thought that I’d try to show the views folks seem to want to see. Thanks Dave for a fine instrument and I can’t wait to work it.

Absolutely GORGEOUS!! Can’t wait till I get mine! I ordered one just after you did…I have to anticipate eagerly for 2 weeks or so.
