Have been trying to learn a song http://www.geocities.com/soho/lofts/6611/playwhis.htm And i would like to learn how to play a note that is repeated without making it sound a separate note. Hope i am not confusing anyone. If you follow the link above you will see that the song starts with two E notes and on the second staff the E note is repeated three times. Thanks for any and all help.

Do you mean two notes next to each other that are the same pitch? If so, try using ornamentation to seperate them all with the same breathe. You can choose different kinds of ornamentation and see what you like. Do a search on whistle ornamentation and you should come up with several examples. I like using cuts and rolls.
That’s a slightly different version to the one I know, but from one beginner to another, I break up the repeated note with a cut. If there’s 3 notes the same one after another I tongue the second and cut the third. Scarborough fair also sounds good when you slur the notes (run it all together). This is of course, based on my own basic skill level and knowledge so far. I’m sure there are many other ways to play this tune that all sound good.
