I dont have a clear idea of how the inlet pipe from the chanter plugs into the bag. I’ve seen some pictures that look like the metal swan neck pipe has twine/cord wrapped around it near the end. Does this just plug into a plane wooden bushing tied into the end of the bag, and is the winding glued to the swan neck? It seems like it may tend to come loose if you move around at all. I plan to make my own windcap, bag and all, but have not seen one in the flesh (yet). Any info is appreciated!!

I will be making a bag and posibily a bellow my self soon I was able to buy the inlet pipes from Tim Britton take a look at his site he has them listed for $40.00 each. Do the reading it will same you time, energy and frustration.
