what a pleasure listen to Barthold Kuijken while playing J.S. Bach’s Flute Sonatas! (please take a look to his pictures[and to his flute!]at http://www.bartholdkuijken.be/ )
I prefer baroque flute players to che bohem ones
Can you ADVISE to me some of the best and famous flute players that use wooden baroque flutes in calssical music??

Konrad Hunteler. Plays a original Denner-flute from about 1720.Has recorded for the MDG label. Telemann, the “Twelve Fantasias…” and the " Metodische Sonaten, CFE Bach complete sonatas and why not :Wilhelm Friedemann Bach, "Six Sonatas for two Flutes " with Michael Schmidt-Casdorff. Hunteler (with german u ) has recorded the JS Bach-sonatas but that’s on vinyl. Happy Ears !

How did I forget Konrad Hunteler,I have the very album that you mention,Massagh!
The Flute made by Denner that Hunteler plays was found in the attic of an old house in Nuremberg,Germany in 1991,and it is a truly,spectacularly Beautiful instrument.
It is somewhat amazing that the Flute survived-I wonder who last played it before Hunteler?
Anyway,if you enjoy Baroque Flute,then this album is a MUST (Telemann-‘12 Fantasias for flute solo’-MDG 311 0486-2).
