Hi everyone, just found the forum while working today, though had to wait till I got home to register.Have to say it seems an amazing source of knowledge for any budding whistle players, just what I need.
I played the Bb flute for a few years and took up the whistle about a year ago,I was playing a Clarke Meg,untill I lost it a week ago while slightly under the influence
So I’ve just bought myself a Susato D.It seems to be a bit harder to play than the Meg,but I’m sure Ill get used to it.Have been dropping hints to the wife about getting me an Overton for my birthday, and surprisingly she’s said yes
so roll on October.Anyway that’s enough from me,just glad that i found the site.
well welcome, I have not been here to long, but this place is great.
You can get help from sources all over what more could you ask for. The people are also nice, Only a few of them bite.

Welcome Willie,
That’s good Duffy! I like that. Yes, it’s true, only a few bite, but you know, it’s like getting bit by a toothless mosquito; on the computer, you can just ignore them!
That is the magic of the forum.
Well, Willie, I want YOUR job. I have to find stuff like this while NOT working at work!!! ![]()

I told the wife last night that everybody on here said that I should get an Overton,I think it will be next month now,an early birthday present
In the meantime I will get another few cheaper whistles
