It’s been a while since I added new sheet music to Whistle and Squeak, but at long last…
I have added “Load O’ Hay” to Folksongs and Teaching Resources (near bottom of page), and “All Hail the Power” to the hymns page.
Hope folks enjoy these!

One I’ve been looking for and can’t find start with the words: When you walk through a storm keep your chin(or head) up high and don’t be afraid of the dark". Don’t know the name of it. Possibly “In the Garden”?
Another is One Little Candle
Thanks.

The name of that song is You’ll Never Walk Alone. I think it’s from the musical, Carousel.
Thanks, Sheryl. Now to find the sheet music.

Best I could find. Might help you work it out.
I couldn’t access the site - got a message about exceeding limitations?? Hope it’s back up and running again soon.
Thanks! ![]()

WOW!! markbell!! Your site is amazing!! I love how fluent you’ve made the pages and how beautifully they are put in a PDF form!
Are there any other sites that offer whistle tabulature like that?
Thank you mark! ![]()
What software did you do the tab notation with? That might be useful for me as I am learning.
It’s working now. Thanks Mark, it’s a great site. You did a very good job organizing it. It’ll be useful for lots and lots of folks.
Kathy
Thanks, Al, for the information. Was able to download a couple songs.

I use Noteworthy Composer, and a whistle tablature font that I created - you can download it from my website. There are several good whistle tab fonts running around, but I wanted some specific things (and I wondered if I could make my own font!)
Sorry about the site occasionally running over my hourly allotment of bandwidth - I use the Geocities free version, and I’m limited to about 4.5 meg per hour. It’s how they get you started, then upgrade you and charge $$. When I originally started the website a couple of years ago, I wasn’t sure if it would have any extended interest for folks.
I am pleased that there is something useful in it for folks. The actual chronology was that I developed the process for doing the tablature to create music for a vacation Bible school with the Dine (Navajo). Afterward, I thought that since I’d put so much time into the process, that it might benefit other folks too.
I’m not aware of other sites that combine a melody line, verses, tablature and guitar chords, that’s why I created the sheet music on the site. I haven’t put guitar chords on most of the more recent music, as it hasn’t seemed to have much demand. Guess it’s hard to whistle while you strum…
Best regards,
Mark
