New "professional" Sweet, might as well sell...

Hi all,

best way to find a good new whistle? Try it. WHich, where I come from means buy it. So I bought the new “professional” Soprano from Ralph Sweet and - dont get me wrong - I just dont like it that much.

My favourite so far is the Clarke original, but it is too weak and a little out of tune; especially the low register is to weak. It´s loud, clear and bright as the morning sunshine but has NO chiff whatsoever, and I found I cant live without that. Should have ordered an Overton. :roll:

So; anybody want to take over my brand new Ralph Sweet “Professional” Soprano D at a reasonable price (mind you, its been all the way up to norway…where Santa Claus lives…!) …?

I´ll probably be back in the forum after the weekend, since I am abroad right now.

Is it made from the birch laminate?

If it’s the professional model it should be, right?

Ralph will be putting out the pro model in regular wood soon…but the price will be higher. So more than likely this is the laminate.

Right, Tyghress.
I’m already quite pleased with my older blackwood/silver model, even if it take some heluva push for the high B.
It has also impressed more apt or skilled whistlers than me.
So I won’t get a Le Coant in high D, and wait for what Sweet is getting ready. He’s a shweet person, too.
