which of the newer makers do people recommend?
Check out the very recent thread about a 3/4 set for sale and you’ll get your answer ![]()
Patrick.
Brad Angus of Vancouver, WA has a great feel for delivering pipes made the old-fashioned way. Great to work with on incorporating custom ideas and either copying a pipemakers style or evoking that style; both ways deliver great results!
I have heard pretty good things about Marcus Coulter’s pipes.
I’d have to agree with Pat on this. Joe Kennedy’s sets have earned their reputation.

Agree with Pat and djm. Joe will be the next big name in upiping.

I’ve after moving to Vancouver city for 7 months. Apparently Brad Angus resides around Washington/Vancouver area. Would anyone have his contact details/website etc.

which thread?
…ya gotta turn a page or two back, but the title mention a 3/4 set for sale.
I believe this is the thread being referred to:

but that set sold within a few hours. Ya gotta be quick …

Michael Hubbert comes to mind. At present, he is producing a full set in D, based on a Crowley set, rather than a Rowsome. Top-notch workmanship!

Howayez,
I was talking about Joe Kennedy from Canada in this thread, also a fabulous pipe maker.

I recommend David A.Boisvert

a very well done instrument.
