Finally.., support!

Welcome to C&F Carel! :sunglasses:

Welcome aboard!!!
Mike

Greetings, carel…

And how is the “studying” on Marc Van Daal 1/2 set coming along? How long have you been working on it?

well, not to bad, elbogo
Its 2 years now I started a 25 year old wish, playing the uilleann pipes
There is no teacher around here, so I spend some weeks on inis oirr
(aran islands, galway bay) were the local piper micheal o’hAlmhain
(a very good fluteplayer as well) teached me.
all days I can spend 1 hour piping,
No problem, I have still 30 years to go.

thanks for the welcome
Carel

Now that is not completely true, there are people with pipes there and there’s a dutch tionol on next week.

that’s true, I will go to the tionol next weekend, where Johannes Schiefner
will be the guestpiper.
concerning teachers, most pipers here don’t teach. But that could change.
The maker of my pepes, mark van Daal, is giving some good advice.

Nor should they I would say, Rob van Dijk teaches a few people every now and again
