New L.E. McCullough Website Is UP!!! (not an urban legend!)

Howdy. For the first time this Decade, I’ve updated my website. Yes, that’s motivation in action.

In fact, I made a totally new one, and it’s at http://www.lemccullough.com. It’s done on iweb, so it’s a little shaky, but if any webwizards out there want to help me improve it in exchange for whistle lessons, that would be excellent.

Check it out, and please feed me whistle links I can post. Obviously, it has a link to CAF plus various whistlemakers – one of whom, John Sindt, I had the pleasure of sitting next to at a lively session at Tom Madden’s home last Saturday in Glen Ridge NJ, and he can play as well as craft, let me tell you.

In a couple weeks, I will be posting all of the 141 traditional Irish tunes I’ve composed as PDFs plus audio snips. . . free for everybody, you like em, you play em and spread the groove. Also, I’ll truly be updating personal appearances, cause this music ain’t nothin much without people to hear it live and enjoy.

Great Holidaze to All Whistlers!

Best, L.E. McCullough *** lemccullough@mac.com

Thanks for the music and have a wonderful and healthy holiday season L.E. It was a great pleasure to play Calliope House along with you at the last NE Whistle Gathering that I attended at the Sweets’ several years ago.

Philo

Hey, Philo!! let me know next time you’ve got a session going in NYC!!

why don’t we have an Urban Whistle Convergence sometime in 2010? seriously, everybody in the 5 boroughs, etc. meets someplace in Manhattan, maybe Times Square. . . imagine, a hundred whistlers just doin it on Broadway!

But does it have one of these?

Hey-- I might even be tempted to come down for that urban whistle thing. Sounds like a plan.
Congrats on the new website LE!

A most pleasant surprise!

I have checked the old pages from time to time in the hope of finding something new. Now I have a whole website to wander. At first look, it seems cluttered, eclectic and full of fascinating things.

Don’t worry about the sophistication of your web design. Content is king.
