I’d heard they will be casting a new actor as the character of James Bond…Clive Owen (?) is what i’ve heared.

Aparantly Brosnan wanted a $40 million deal to do the next one…and they told him he was too old anyways! 
The next film will actually be based on an Ian Flemming novel this time!! YAY! (casino royale)

I like Clive Owen. Bond flicks can be fun or boring.

Yeah…the studio has said that they’re looking for an even younger guy to take the roll, a “007 for the new millenium” idea. The thing that really makes me sad is that John Cleese might not return as Q…I thought he was just fantastic as Q…I just got a kick outta him in Die Another Day He just seemed like the right logical successor to Desmond Llewelyn.
Bugger. I liked Brosnan as Bond. He was second on my list of the best Bond actors. Connery was nr. 1 of course. And Lazenby was acctually not last.

I’ve always thought that Roger Moore was the worst Bond..
Agreed. I didn’t think so at first, but as time goes by, he is downright annoying.
For me it’s a tie between Moore and Dalton.
yeah, they actually both are quiet sissy-oid.
Moore was just too unbelieveable as Bond…Dalton was the sissy-pants. (to me, it always looked like his head was just a little to big for his body 
)
Roger Moore was definitely the cheesiest Bond. I caught a clip of “Moonraker” the other night… I had to turn the channel to stop laughing.
I think Clive Owen is an excellent choice although maybe too much in his prime as an actor to be slogging witty one-liners and flying jet-packs.
I think Daniel Craig is an excellent candidate. He was so cool in “Layer Cake.”
But we’ve had a Scot, an Englishman, an Aussie, a Welshman, and an Irishman… it’s time to bring it back to Scotland…
