Hi y’all. Some of you probably know I run GuitarNuts.com which is sort of (or at least attempts to be) the Chiff and Fipple of the guitar world (though I haven’t quite mustered the moxy to refer to myself as the undisputed, yet ).
Anyway, for those of you who are also guitarists I just opened the public forums. you can get there by going to the GuitarNuts home page and then “punching up” “GuitarNuts Forums” on the “GuitarNuts studio” or by going directly to the](http://www.guitarnuts.com/phpBB2/index.php%22%3Ethe) forums.
The forums use the latest version of phpBB, the same software that runs this forum, so it should be pretty familiar. This software is amazingly good. Installing it only took about 1/2 hour. It took me two weeks to write the rules and FAQ!
Setting up an account took a whole 5 seconds longer than setting one up with C&F!?!?! What’s the deal with that? (jk) Really, it looks well put together, and being more of a guitar player than a whistler, I really hope it takes off.
My thanks too. Guitar was my first instrument and I’m probably still better on it than on any of the others. How good that is is not for me to say. I’ll visit soon.
