I just received my low G copper whistle from Ethnic Wind, and it’s wonderful. I have slightly long fingers for a woman, and the grip is no problem, don’t have to use the piper’s grip. The sound is mellow with a very slight breathiness. It’s beautiful to look at, with the Celtic knot on it, as most of his whistle have. The price is definitely reasonable, and it took a couple of weeks for delivery. I have a painted copper high D already, and I believe that Nick is definitely doing something right here. If you’ve been curious about Ethnic Wind whistles, go for it!
