Congrats, Albert!
I got my new bellows from Jim a few weeks ago and they are brilliant. It feels like driving a Jaguar… or at least how I imagine driving a Jaguar would feel. ![]()
I think he was working on yours and mine around the same time but since I live on the same continent as Jim, I got mine a little quicker. Actually, I think your bellows are in the picture Jim sent me of mine.
Enjoy!
Cheers,
Aaron
Luckily ‘Jim’ is such a rare and exotic name that I know exactly of whom you are speaking. ![]()
its jim you know, jim
Oh right, Jim Woof-Froment-Quinn-Koehler.
I don’t know who these Woof-Froment-Quinn-Koehler fellows are, but I’m Jim. ![]()
I apologize Jim, I’ve oggled those beauties on your website before. They do indeed look like Jaguar calibre accoutrement. Would love a test drive.
I believe the one on the left is Albert’s and the one on the right is mine.

Correction, they are both mine… now gimme! ![]()
in this old thread where i was trying to say the same thing i gave his last name:

Just so you know, my bellows have been tainted with Border pipes and Scottish music. So if you used my bellows you may unexplainably play a birl every time you tried playing a cran ![]()
… I can deal with it. ![]()
I think a torlueth is closer to a cran. Burls sound great when played well. I broke my pinky when I was young and it never has played a good burl. either the slide or the other method.

yo ma man, was in toronto recentley at toronto airport church, now they could do with an uilleann piper cos they aint got one but have 5000 screamin christians on a sunday giv in it big guns for god.

Toronto Airport church. I only thought they had strip joints near the airport. I wonder whether “Colonel Frazer” would be a good tune during a lap dance.
As for Horton’s coffee and doughnuts, my wife and I always thought it would be great to get a Horton’s franchise for Dublin, but I think the main problem would be you couldn’t physically sell enough coffee and doughnuts to pay the crazy commercial rents in Dublin, even if the place was a huge success.
Apologies for this being offtopic.
I wonder whether “Colonel Frazer” would be a good tune during a lap dance.
An Phis Fliuch would be a much better tune for such an occasion.
You are so right.
I’m confused. I think it would be difficult to play the pipes during a lap dance. ![]()

Depends on what kind of piping you’re talkin’ 'bout… ![]()
Who’s playing the pipes? The danc_er_ or the danc_ee_?
