New Annex Page: Whistle Teachers

Everyone:

The Annex/Matrix does talk about CD and book tutors, but I’d also like to add a special section where REAL LIVE WHISTLE TEACHERS can list their names and email addresses so newbies in their area can find them easily. I dont know if this will really work, but it seems to me to be a good idea, so what the heck.

I wont be listing a lot of personal information for teachers, nor am I gonna say anything about any of the teachers good or bad. I just want to try something that makes it easier for potential students to connect with teachers in their area. My thought is to organize it simply by country, state and city.

To start, I’d like to just list teachers’ names and email address and/or website links so newbies can reach teachers directly.

I also refuse to get commercial with this: at most I may have a spot that indicates whether the teacher gives lessons for free or whether you charge for them (and no comments at all about rates, etc)

Again, all I want to do is try something that may make it easier for a Newbie to find a real live teacher in his/her area.

So this in an open invitation: If you are a whistle teacher or feel good enough to provide instruction to others in your area and would like to be listed on this site, send me an email at McNewbie@aol.com (Im using the McNewbie email address for Annex related stuff). If I get a good enough response, I’ll put up the page and we’ll see if its helpful.

Where do we find the Annex/Matrix pages, please?

Thanks,

Steve

Kevin you should put the Matrix as your profile homepage URL, and then it will be at the bottom of all your posts.

DOH!! Yes thats obvious. Posting now to see if it works.

OK it seems to work. If anyone has any ideas about where I might send an email to reach teachers who might not be regular Chiffboarders, please let me know.

thanks,

Kev
