I’ve gotten over a dozen attacks now from a new e-mail virus that conceals it’s origin so you can’t warn the other person that they’re sending tainted mail.
It’s purportedly from “Microsoft Corporation” and addressed to “Microsoft Customer” with the subject “Internet Security Update” Reading the message with it says it’s a patch for several well known windows bugs.
McAfee and Norton will both catch it. There’s nothing at all about it to set off the usual virus worries, making a real good argument for up to date antivirus programs.
