New album with Tina Eck on flute

Tina Eck is a flute player from Washington DC, we had the pleasure of having her at our session in Rome last year.
You can hear the tracks preview of her new album on this site:

Nice stuff! She plays a wonderful Olwell Pratten, that was originally played by mr. Olwell himself.

And she’s accompanied by Keith Carr, who’s a lovely zouk and banjo player.

Thanks for posting Lorenzo, and good point Cathy, thanks.

“Lilt” - the duo consisting of Keith Carr on bouzouki and banjo and myself on flute - has put out a CD called “Onward”. We are joined by wonderful musicians from the greater DC/MD/VA area. Joe de Zarn on fiddle, Mitch Fanning on fiddle, Jesse Winch on bodhran and Alistair Watson on cello.

It was quite a thrill and fun to make and we like it with all the little bits and pieces and stumbles that happen on such a thing

It is meant as ‘a point in time’, sort of: this is where we are. The best part of it was really the friendship and fun with which all of this fell into place. We cannot thank our musician friends enough. They were terrific.

Enough said. If any of you have a chance to hear it, I/we hope you enjoy it

P.S. Oh, and in direct sales we take $5 of each CD and donate it to the local CCE chapter for a scholarship for a student. That part is also fun. It all comes full circle … one way or the other.

Lovely music.

:poke: …and how do we order a “direct sale” CD? …cost?..Paypal accepted? etc., etc.
