You won’t regret attending this event. Neillidh will have a couple of his brothers performing there as well. They are quite a family for sure. Neillidh is in a class or grouping by himself with regards to his piping. Make sure that he plays a few slow airs for your pleasure. during the dance tunes, pay attention to his off the knee short rolls on F, A, and B…nobody does 'em like that.

Send me a sound file of anyone who gets the same character and crispy punch of those short rolls as does Neillidh.

My point is that he has achieved what so many of us wish to do…a signature that is unique and identifiable.

Carel, understanding that Peter and David really could care less, I, for one, would like to see a report on this particular concert event that should’ve taken place yesterday.

I surely don’t get it. I posted a few positive comments about one of my fave pipers. Your “ah go on” response seemed unclear to me and perhaps disrespectful of my observations and comments. I could not tell you were joking…but if you were, I’m glad to hear it and to have it cleared up. Some have recognized me as having a poor sense of humor, I have a hard time remembering jokes, etc…this doctoring biz can make one too serious. On the other hand, I do have the ability to laugh and enjoy humor, even when directed at me, and especially when I recognize it as such.

Above all, he is a very nice man. So are his brothers.

I would like to report, after hearing him playing in a less noisy place (this session was in a pub, Mulligans Amsterdam)
