Yup thats right,you play into your mic and it recognizes what note your playing and places it on the staff, along with the length of the note 16th half, 8th whatever… It also a middi composer so if you want to add other instruments to your song go right ahead! No I didn’t write the program I just stumbled onto it looking for a middi composer.

Oh yea I just used it… works pretty good. If you try to use a High whistle, make sure that when you open up the “voice to middi” dialog and it start recording, set the little box at the top all the way up to 32… if you don’t anything in the whistle’s second octave won’t be recognized.
I will definitely have to try this out. Been looking for something of this nature for awhile.
