Shannon Heaton of Siúcra played one until recently when she switched to a Burke.
The very whistle Shannon once owned is available at Whistle and Drum in the “Previously Loved” section.
I was going to buy it myself recently, but couldn’t turn down the offer made by a fellow board member, and bought his Overton instead.

I think the most useful feedback I can give is to compare the Lambe with others of the same type. I’ve played and owned non-tuneable Overtons in about every key, O’Briains in non-tuneable Low F and tuneable D, and played a Lambe tuneable Low D. In short, I much prefer both the Overtons and O’Briains with respect to both construction and tonal qualities, as well as responsiveness. Just one man’s opinion.
