Need photos for Wooden Flute Obsession 2

Is anyone willing to contribute photos of their wooden flutes (or flute parts, a key, a section, an embouchure hole) to use in the CD cover artwork for “Wooden Flute Obsession 2”? On WFO1, I had Terry McGee & Mark Hoza send me digital photos by email, which were worked into the design. Photo credit only, and of course copies of the CD for any photos that are actually used.

I need as high-resolution as possible, although .JPGs versions preferred. .TIF, .TGA or Photoshop .PSD acceptable, but tend to be too large for the amount of detail. The graphic artist can clean them up suitable for this use.

Digital camera source or scan from conventional film (or hey, maybe even just scanned directly on the flatbed). Multi-megabytes OK, but check with me first if it’s over a 4 MB file on disc. Just email to me at kevin@worldtrad.org with message text identifying the flute & photographer. I can also set up an FTP site to place images, or download from your site if you already have them posted somewhere. If people are interested, I might just setup a gallery, anyway.

Thanks

Edited to make the link work.

If you want this one, you are welcome to use it. I sure wish I had kept a higher resolution version.

Maybe the Current owner can take some higher res photos, if he’s out there.

That sure was a beautiful flute, at least what I’ve seen from the pictures.

Loren

Yes, it was pretty to look at.

Jessie, can you send an email to kevin@worldtrad.org giving me permission to use your photo? While not high-res, it is sharp & pretty. I might be able to use it in a small area.

Done.

Not to distract from the original intention of this thread, Kevin, but which flutists will be on WFO2?

Too soon to let you know. It depends on who responds to my inquiries, and the availability of the tracks. My aim is to have a mix of well-known and lesser-known players, from the USA, Ireland, Scotland, New Zealand, Australia, Canada, wherever. I’m hoping to bring in some of the players who were unable or unwilling to be on the first compilation.
