Doesn’t look Pakistani. As to whether it can be restored, impossible to tell from the 3 photos posted.

Pakistani chanters either have no keys or 3 keys

The wooden chanter top looks different from the Pakistani variant as well.

If the price is right, go for it I would say.

thanks for the good input - there’s more time than I thought - 18 hours not 8. tired eyes… I’ll let you know how I make out. Any other opinions / thoughts are appreciated.

Looks interesting. Possibly an Egan that’s been fooled with???

It would be nice to have a first hand look at it to know for sure.

Patrick.

I was thinking Egan as well, or a copy. Looks like C or C#.

well, for better or worse I won the auction. I’ll try and follow up w/more info when they arrive in a week or so.

thx again for the fast input!

turns out the are made by Brad Angus in Portland.

I’ve contacted him to see if he can provide more info. Set looks very restoreable once I get rid of the mildew smell of the case & bag cover. Disproving the old joke about “at least they don’t smell”

Lots of corrosion & some mold, but hey - adds character!

Best,

Deisman
