This week has shaken our national character,
Wounding, frightening, saddening.
As mourning turns its heart to what remains,
We remember the children,
be they individuals or nations,
The children will know comfort,
for the lioness is aroused to protect.

For your children,
whose eyes this week
may have been filled with shadow,
A Welsh Lullaby.

Oh Lee…thank you for recalling that to my memory..I just finished playing that on my Dixon…hadn’t thought of it in years. It is a lovely piece and so fitting at this time.Gm
