My wife's in labor...

…wish us luck (and pray if you pray).

Peace and happy children everywhere,
Erik

Prayers and well wishes to the three of you. Keep us posted.

Erik…how exciting! Another C&F baby for my scrapbook and a sibling for Madelyn.
Prayers and blessings. Keep us posted. Gm

Was she elected PRESIDENT of the Union?

I’m praying.

Congratulations. I’m praying for you too.

I’ll be in the same boat too in 9 weeks time as my wife is expecting our first child.

All the best,

Adrian

Bring a whistle along to the delivery room to drown out those irritating screaming sounds!
Good Luck and congrats!

Congratulation and good luck!

Hmmm… I wonder what tune would go well with those Lamaze Breathing exercises they teach at childbirth classes…

Never pass up a potential practice session and …

Enjoy Your Music,

How wonderful, will be thinking of you and yours! Keep us posted!

Give your wife a hug for me…I’ve been there, 5 TIMES, and all at home…so you let her know, if a 5’2" 105 pound woman can have a 9 pound baby without drugs, ANYONE can! Although drugs would have been great

Congrats daddy!

Let me add my congrats and prayers to all those above. Children are such a joy and blessing, the good times totally overwhelm those moments when I am tempted to doubt it.

We are praying for a safe delivery and wonderful life for you and your new family.

OH BOY! Another potential whistle player enters the world! My prayers and best wishes are with you!

Bri~

P.S. My little one (who ain’t so little anymore at the ripe ol’ age of seven!) is just taking to Daddy’s strange facination with shiny metal tubes with holes in them!

Thank you all for your well wishings. Nathan Loren Tullberg was born today at 3:35. Healthy and relatively happy  7.5 lbs, 19 inches, 10 toes, 10 fingers, 2 ears, etc. We feel truely blessed.

Whistles were absolutely outlawed from the delivery room. Actually, Julie made some rather unkind whistle and Irish music comments. Something about ‘…screetching, high pitched whistles.’ and ‘…playing the same songs over and over.’ But I’m sure that it was the pain talking.

Perhaps I’ll sneak one into the recovery suite tomorrow

Peace,
Erik

A BEAUTIFUL little boy Eric, congradulations and a speedy recovery to your wife.

Please notice how he instinctively has placed his hand to be able to play a whistle. One handed. But never while driving.

Erik

WAY off topic…
I’ve never heard of a better reason to keep guns out of the house!!!

Fantastic, Erik! What a cute little guy.

My Julie would have concurred with yours at any time during her labor with our kids – but mostly to object that whistling would be taking my hands away from rubbing her Tired, Sore back  ) a Susato D, my first whistle, salvaged what sounded like would be a shreiking “I Don’t Like My Car Seat!!!” six-hour vacation drive. We discovered accidentally that squawking and squeaking on the whistle grabbed his attention and he forgot to cry, fascinated.

Whistle music doesn’t have the same effect any more - at 2+, he only quiets down while deeply asleep (babble, babble, laugh, yak, yak, yell, babble, babble …). Instead, he reacts by dancing. I don’t think it’s a jig … more like REELing around the room …

Again, congratulations! Tell your wife there’s a bunch of us who’d be willing to drop by and play the little guy a lullaby when y’all really need it in a month or two … if only we didn’t live thousands of miles away.

What a beautiful kid you made, Eric! Nice that Madelyn has a baby brother! I’ll be looking for your folks at the Franklin Hotel and hope they have more pics in hand to brag about their new gandson with! Congrats!

Erik,
Congratulations!! And thankyou for sharing your family with us…such a lovely picture, such a beautiful baby! You realize now that we will need more photos to keep us updated on the C&F baby.

Congratulations to you and your wife on this latest addition to your family! I hope that Nathan and his mother are both doing fine
