It’s been raining a lot here in Eastern Washington–dry climate, desert–and once again I’m enjoying a new perspective on reed action. Ireland or Seattle can’t be any better right now, so why travel when it’s raining? Just sit back and wait for Ireland to come to you. 
Or…you could live in Central Florida where pretty much all year round the humidity is great for reeds…just gotta keep out of the sun and the 90+ degree days in summer.
