I left my Dixon Low D at home because I could only pack so many instruments and decided to concentrate on the stupid flute. Now I wish I had brought it along with me. Aching for a low d now. Maybe I can use it as an excuse to purchase a new one? 
Are there any updates on the Clarke low D? It’s been a while since I heard anything of it.

I’m afraid I haven’t heard anything about Clarke making a low D, and if they have, I haven’t seen one yet.
At least the Dixon is safe & well, if lonely.
From the title, I thought it had been run over by a bus.

I have heard of the Clarke low D’s but think they are still in early prototyping stage.
