I know it’s early, but how do you like the off-set finger holes? Is this your first flute with offset holes? Does off-set work better or worse for the whistle mode? (All these questions, and so little time.)

hi at 1st i found it weird but after 10 Min’s got a little better .will put it through its paces over the next few days to a week .i am fairly new to the whistle / flute but will give it a go . it don’t like playing cold have to warm up for 5 mins but sounds good to my untrained ear.
i would say so far the flute seems easer with the off set

Looking very nice! congrats on the purchase…
I believe the last off-set hole would be a bit of a prob for the flute though ;/
These flute/whistles also caught my eye, and the seller was very helpful when I asked some questions online. Now a question for you; would the offset holes be beneficial to my not so large hands ?
Look forward to your review
Thanks Clive
i have avg size hands and i dont need to play with the pipers grip on it as i do with my dixon low d .so i think if you have small hands would be easy . the only down side a see is the fact i have to warm it up for 5 to 10 mins before playing .like any whistle /flute takes time to settle in ![]()
