So this is where all the big knobs hang out…? I remember Gerry Mc Kee saying that in a stop to the bogs on the way to a festival in Skagen, when there was some very good musicians draining the spuds, thought it was pretty funny. Just been browsing through the site here a bit and see there’s a good ween of people I haven’t seen in years. Must get my teeth fixed here and try getting back into the flute a bit. Still up in Derry, but there’s not that much happening here in the line of tunes, in saying that there are some brilliant musicians around. San Dino’s seems to be the only pub in town that has any potential for tunes. There’s the odd night in ‘the grand hall’ in Magee but it’s mostly concerts and the same with the Nerve Centre. There’s also the Solas Cultúrlann in Great James’ Street. Anyone else on here around Derry or has everyone moved to Galway? (Not that I’m bitter or jealous or anything) Heard your good news there Harry, congratulations. Well just thought I’d say hello to all and start posting as it looks like a pretty decent on-line forum thingy. Ádh mór órt!
