My Lagan Love is a traditional air. So, why on earth should anyone need permision from Van Morrison to perform or record it?

Or have I misunderstood something
at this site?

And, if the “lyrics [are] written by Van Morrison”, why didn’t he acknowledge himself as the author on
his album?

I doubt that KOVideo spends a lot on research.
Van recorded it with the Chieftains, hence the page at KOVideo
