My first mp3 recording post!!!

Irish Flute
1

Hello everyone,
I hope this mp3 works if not let me know right away. So basically what i did was record a 3 and a half min sound recording of me playing a 25 dollar bamboo flute. My name is Dan Vaughn from Iowa, and I just want to get my name out there. I have been playing for about 10-11 years now on both flute and whistle. I’ve played with musicians from Flook, Gaelic Storm, Mike McGoldrick, Millish, Cathy Ryan and others. So let me know what you guys think!
Thanks!
Daniel

EDIT: I forgot to mention that I’m 16 years old and haven’t played for about 2 months…XBOX gets in the way…hehe.

Daniel,

Lovely playing. Lovely credentials. I really enjoyed that. Got the names of the tunes? One suggestion, a little less reverb. I happened to like reverb, but I think it was over the top on the clip. All the best,
Arbo

Super playing, Dan. I play the Dub reel too. Keep up the great work.

Lovely playing Dan. Haven’t played for two months?! I’m off to practice

The first one is the Dub Reel (Michael McGoldrick) and the second one is Alice’s Reel (Frankie Gavin).

wow amazing playing
good for you that you started playing so early (age of 5-6! :astonished: )
any plan for the future?

Boo, “file not available.” And I’m working on Alice’s Reel, too – I could use some inspiration!
