My Collection (Including pictures and recordings)

I made a few recordings for another forum, so I thought, why shouldn’t I post them here

The mic isn’t great so the recordings aren’t very good, especially the one with the bagpipes.

And this are all the instruments together:

Your collection is awesome!!!

First of all, thanks for recording “Morrison’s Jig” on your Susato low D! I like it, as well as “The Glass Of Beer” with your Clarke Sweetone.

Aaaaaaaand… that Syn set is so… arghhhhhh… I envy you!

Congrats on that collection, and I hope it’ll keep growing! :smiling_imp:

Regards,
Martin

I’ve ordered some new things and there are a few more whistles on my ‘want-to-buy-list’ so it’s far from complete :sunglasses:

What is this word, “complete”?

Hi scoutcow, If you don’t mind a gentle suggestion … Consider adding one of these to your collection, too, if you don’t have one:

If you work on developing a steady rhythm, those nice instruments will all sound better. Right now, the erratic rhythm is the main thing that distracts from your playing. Good luck!

I did some quick recordings, so didn’t use a metronome, but I have on here and use it sometimes and if I’m playing less hasty I can play good in rythm (had to use a solid rythm last tuesday with my band and it isn’t that difficult, but I was rushing through these recordings, so my rythm wasn’t very good)

That’s a very nice collection!

But… is that a recorder I see in the pile? tssk tssk

I prefer to call it my practice chanter for the medieval bagpipe :stuck_out_tongue:
