My Cocuswood Cochran flute in progress...


Just finished mounting 4 keys, 4 to go… this one is for me! :smiling_imp:

Here is a photo showing the Bb and a better color of the cocuswood.

Nice looking keys, Jon. The G# pin seems high in the block. Pads or plugs intended for the low C & C#? How is the weight comparing to the antique flutes, like the Wylde?

Plenty of meat left on the G# block, Kevin. I think I will be doing pewter plugs with square strike plates, I am a traditionalist, after all… The flute is very light, as the head is partially lined, and the body is nice and slim. (if only I was…) :smiley:
