My 21st Year

I’ll be 21 July 13th, and I STILL haven’t figured out what I’m going to do. The original plan was to go to Las Vegas, but something happened and it was shot down…

right now the plan is that my parents are taking me to Ixtapa to get a bird bath margarita, but does anyone else have any suggestions?? Something VERY memorable..not that going to Ixtapa and having my first drink in public wouldnt’ be memorable…but still!

I want to do something at midnight!!

Well… if you really do look anything like Andrea Corr… and if you drink enough margaritas to sufficiently cloud your vision and judgement… you could still go to Las Vegas for one of those infamous ‘quickie’ weddings with a certain whistle maker from Tennessee!
Then… after the margaritas wear off… and your senses returns to normal… and you realize how goofy looking your new husband is… you can simply pull a ‘Britney Spears’ and have the marriage annulled!
I don’t think you could possibly do anything more ‘memorable’ than that! :stuck_out_tongue:

(Of course I’m just kidding, so please don’t be offended.)

How romantic! A 'Net proposal. Sumpn to tell the grandkids about.

With if you want something Memorable, then order an Irish Carbomb or two… Can’t go wrong with a Pint of Guiness Draught with a SHot of Jamesen mixed in, then a Shot glass full of Irish cream dropped in the Pint… chug the whole thing and your set… on fire in a few minutes  After 3 or 4 you feel just spiffy… until you stand up… Then you feel like someone roped a race horse to a merry-go-round and then kicked it in the arse…

…make sure that whatever bars you end up in, that you tell 'em it’s your B-Day, the bartenders usually will give you a free drink. Take advantage of this, because from here on out it ain’t cheap!!

If your “something memorable” includes too much drinking, you probably won’t remember it at all!!

I seriously remember guys in college saying “Wow, I must have had a great weekend: I don’t remember it at all!” which kinda negates the whole thing. Personally, I had a lot more fun having only a beer or two and WATCHING the really drunk guys, which could be quite entertaining :stuck_out_tongue:

I’m 62 and I still haven’t figured out what I’m going to do!!

Happy birthday though.

Mike

Memorable eh?.. Well, if you haven’t already tried any of the following, here are some suggestions;

  • Parachute jump / sky diving
  • Hangliding
  • Flying lesson
  • Helicopter lesson
  • Scuba diving
  • Pot holing
  • Horse riding

John.

Ah the power of the Avatar. I havent been this curious about how someone looked since Amar chatted up aderyn_du on the CP thread.

Speaking of which, Strand, i dont believe you’ve posted to the Cutie Pie Thread yet. It’s really easy, you just post a picture of you, or a close relative, or a pet, then everybody tells you that you/your sister/Fluffie is a cutie pie.
Everyones a winner!

hehehe..

Stop it Amar.

I am sure that the Swiss Deflowering Ritual is not on 'Strand’s list of things to do on her 21st.

Remember, she said she wanted to do something “memorable”, which I also assume means ‘exciting’ as well! Which rules out anything to do with Switzerland…

oh, goodness, I thought strand was a guy. . .
and my “hehehe” had nothing to do with what you were describing!
foul english mind..

Unless he’s a guy who wants to look like Andrea Corr.

Although, that could be fun… :astonished:

To straighten things out on all the confusion…I am a girl! (does it show your gender on your profile??)

It doesn’t! :astonished: Huh, didn’t know that…

well now you know!

well well, hello there 21year old legal girl.

Pot holing??

Congratulations on your 1000th post !!!

Climbing into holes in the ground exploring underground cave systems and underground rivers/lakes etc. Involves getting wet and squeezing into tight spaces… ermm… perhaps I should rephrase that… :astonished:

WOW!!! COOL, THANK YOU SO MUCH.
I WANT TO THANK THE ACADEMY, MY FAMILY, DALE, AND OF COURSE GOD. (wait, I’m not an american..)
