Music of Breath

I guess flutes and whistles may be considered vehicles for breath music.
But here is a c.90 year old yogi without a flute or a whsitle.
just one breath
:astonished:

As the inimitable j w wren said on seeing this,
“There we have an audience applauding a man for breathing” …

That’s pretty impressive.

“The Music of Breath” would be an awesome title for a solo flute album, as long as it contains not one sniff of newage.

On my first read, it rhymed with sewage. Coincidence?

No coincidence. I dunno about you, but I stole it from Penn Jillette.

Ah, and here I thought it might have been a mere typo. There you have it.

Uh huh. Its called Ujjayi breath and its the way one breathes while doing hatha yoga asanas.

Btw, BKS Iyengar was Yehudi Menuhin’s yoga teacher. Breathing like that comes in handy playing the fiddle too
but it drives the person operating the sound board crazy.
