I have XM, I don’t get enough NPR in my diet.)
Diane Rehm has had a show on WAMU for over 20 years. I’ve never been crazy about her, but some people are. Kojo Nnamde has been there for about 10 years or so; before that, and maybe overlapping some, he had a show on the UDC station. Kojo took over his show from Derek McGintey, who had landed a job with one of the TV networks. I LOVED Derek’s show, the guy’s smart and has a great sense of humor. Kojo is also smart and does a lot of interesting shows, but seems a little stiff for me. WAMU began sending the shows both out to NPR soon after Kojo joined them.
So in a sense, yeah, they’re related, as they’re both talk shows produced at WAMU.

Turns out I stumbled onto this one trying to open a Diane Rehm mp3 about electric cars…got this by mistake and was so impressed I never got back !
Why are all these electric cars so damned small? It’s not like we’re only 4’ tall. And how are you supposed to tow your boat to the cottage with that thing? Ridiculous!

That sent me looking. I came upon this. Pretty cool.
There’s an SUV model, too. All electric. Less than 10 minutes to fully
recharge, 100 miles on a charge. Tops out at 95mph.
